~Holiday Smiles Program~ In recent years PRINCAPECHA has had the great fortune to meet some wonderful children and their families at local hospitals where we have made special charity visits to a variety of pediatric units spreading seasonal cheer. While very rewarding for all, visiting these children brings to our company the sobering reality of life that some are struggling despite the spread of seasonal bliss this time of year.  While we celebrate in homes and businesses all year round with smiling children abound, there are other children reaching deep down inside every day to find just a glimpse of a smile.  So our travels in December take us to these children reaching so deep inside, because we know well that one really grand smile can last them a lifetime! We learn, we are amazed and we are deeply humbled by the disposition of these strong people, these very brave souls and these grateful children as they open their eyes so wide, smile so hard and laugh out loud with the purest joy we experience all year long!  We bring gifts and have been so surprised and thrilled when children open something chosen merely based on age and cling to it as though it was what they always wanted.  The gracious hearts of those who have learned too young the value of what we have today is compelling.  We absolutely must return year after year and we absolutely must make those children smile too! Rath Names of children may have been changed to protect the privacy of the families.  These stories are examples the reactions of children and the families met at hospitals around Maryland and Washington DC by PRINCAPECHA staff during the Holiday Seasons in 2006 and 2007. $25 - Private Donor Contribute to memorable moments in the lives of children who will spend their holidays this year in the hospital. $50 - Season Donor Receive a lovely card acknowledging your donation and thanking you for your contribution to the Holiday Smiles of children. $100 - Gift Giver Donor* Receive a lovely card along with a certificate recognizing your donation, naming the local hospital your donation supported. $300 - Making Memories Donor* Receive a lovely card with a plaque recognizing your donation, naming the local hospital your donation supported.  You will also be entitled to a character appearance in your own business to wish seasonal greetings to local families in your town! $500 - Holiday Smiles Sponsor* Receive a donor plaque and host a holiday character appearance in your business plus send a representative from your business along with our Character and photographer to extend Holiday Wishes to the children on behalf of your company. *Personal or Business name listed in a plaque to be provided to the Hospitals commemorating the Holiday Smiles program.
